Located at the corner of Victoria Street and Upper Church Lane, Bittles Bar is housed in a distinctive flat-iron-shaped building. This architectural gem dates back to the 1860s and was designed by Thomas Jackson & Son for John Trueman, a local baker and flour merchant.

Inside the bar, patrons are greeted by a gallery of portraits celebrating Ireland's literary and sporting heroes, including W.B. Yeats, Oscar Wilde, George Best, Alex Higgins, and Barry McGuigan, along with some of Ireland's most famous politicians.
