11 North Street (Braddell’s Building) is a Grade B1 listed, late 19th-century commercial property located in the Cathedral Quarter.

Built circa 1890, the building formerly housed J. Braddell & Sons, once Ireland’s largest retailer of guns and fishing tackle. It is a rare surviving example of small-scale Victorian commercial architecture in the city centre.

Now vacant and listed as ‘at risk’, the property has experienced moderate deterioration due to vegetation growth and lack of maintenance.

In July 2025, Belfast City Council announced its intention to bid for the building as part of a wider £2.7 million acquisition proposal, which also includes the Assembly Rooms and 5–9 North Street.
